a monthly letter subscription ✦ real ink on real paper
In a world of notifications and noise, a handwritten letter lands differently. Every month, one arrives in your mailbox — made with care, sent just for you.
April, under a full moon
Dear friend,
I know. A letter subscription from someone who doesn’t do small talk.
But there’s a difference between small talk and something worth saying.
I don’t write unless I have something worth saying.
This month, I did. Open the envelope. You’ll see what I mean.
— Tracey ✦
Each month one letter goes out to every subscriber — written by hand, with a few small things tucked in alongside it. No algorithm picked what went in your envelope. I did.
Because some things deserve to exist on paper.
It’s just me and my grandson Ryn in Southern Oregon. I’ll leave it at that.
I’m not the type to say something unless I mean it. So when I sit down to write your letter, I mean it. Every word. Every little thing tucked in the envelope was put there on purpose.
I started Twinkling Transits because I wanted to send something real into the world for a change. No algorithm. No performance. Just a letter, from me to you, once a month — chosen and written like it matters.
Because it does.

You never quite know what’s coming. That’s half the magic.
Real pen, real paper, real words. Written by hand. Not typed, not printed, not generated.
Stickers, snippets, scraps and small things — whatever felt right that month. Different every time.
Sometimes something drawn. Sometimes something found. Sometimes a bubblegum wrapper that just felt too good not to share.
Nothing random, nothing generic. Small things chosen because they made me think of you.
When you subscribe, I’ll ask you one question. Just one. Your answer helps me write something that feels like it was made exactly for you — because it was.
“What’s something you’ve always wanted to know the answer to?”
“Tell me something small and beautiful about your life right now.”
“What do you wish someone would just say to you today?”
“If a letter could arrive at the perfect moment — what would it say?”
Your answer is just between us. I’ll never share it and you’ll never be asked again.
